All of our teas are taste tested eight times from Harvest to Post Production.

FIRST AND SECOND FLUSHES OF THE TEA SEASON

For taste and quality purposes, our teas are only harvested between the months of March and October during what is called the First and Second Flushes. This allows us produce one of the highest quality teas possible.

All of our teas are carefully hand picked to ensure that only the finest leaves are selected. We take pride in ensuring that quality and taste are at the forefront of our product.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Our tea farmers have over four generations of expertise and knowledge dating back to the late 1890's, when tea was first introduced to Sri Lanka in the central hills of Kandy by James Taylor, the founding father of today's Ceylon Tea Industry. It was then, in 1912 when our partners purchased their first tea plantations and tea production facility. Today, they operate one of the most modern and largest tea production facilities in the island.
